The 18th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards Nominates Tia for Two Awards, Nov. 20th at the Music Box Theatre The LA Music Awards are a different event than the other awards shows out there and offer artists from all over the globe a unique opportunity.The artists who are chosen as nominees in the independent categories will get to network not only with music industry achievers, but with top-level people from the motion picture industry as well. |
"The second biggest Hollywood music awards event of the year: The LA Music Awards annual Voting Event at the Whisky A Go-Go on October 16th!
Between performances, the LA Music Awards will present each nominee from every category their nomination certificate on stage at this event. There will also be 30 second sound bytes played for each artist recorded work for the audience to hear and cast their votes.

The 2008 International Festival4Stars Songwriting Competition nominates Tia as a Finalist for "I Want More"
| The International Festival4Stars Songwriting Competition began in The UK in 2004. Festival4Stars is an international talent search which is now offering 4 selected songwriters an all-expenses-paid trip to perform live in London and $1,000 in prize money. The competition is open to artists from all around the world, however all lyrics must be in English. Selected artists will perform live at the Grange City Hotel in London in front of a panel of judges, including Robin Gibb from The Bee Gee’s. The International Festival4Stars Songwriting Competition is accepting submissions in 4 categories. One winner will be selected from each of the following categories: Entries will be judged by a panel of music industry professionals, including songwriters, record producers, publishers and managers from all over the world. The judges will give each song constructive written feedback in each of the following criteria: commercial-ability, originality, melody, composition and lyrics. Sponsors of this Songwriting Contest include Peavey, Songs4U and Maximum Music. This is a great chance for any artist to receive a $1000 cash prize and an all-expenses-paid trip to perform live in London. |
